Had a fabulous day off yesterday. My friend Craig was in town from NYC and we hit the town to attend the Bellevue Art Museum Art and Crafts Fair. Craig was like a kid in a candy store loving everything! Our first serious stop was here (I have long admired this artist)
http://www.christinagoodman.com/index.html and am a proud owner of one of her Italian inspired jewelry pieces now. I really loved this artist Amy Spassov http://www.hallwaygallery.com/gallery02.html. Her portraits and abstracts really spoke to me. My friend Craig ended up purchasing a stunning piece from Amy's boyfriend http://www.hallwaygallery.com/gallery06.html for his library in his Victorian beach house!
After a corn dog and lemonade we headed to Snohomish to see some antiques. Craig was thrilled with the selection and I actually found a coveted antique dress form that was affordable with only three small tears. I walked away from it at first and in the end I had to have it. Looks good in my art room, no?
We ended the day at the Purple Wine bar in Kirkland having Lobster Risotto and sharing a great Zin.
I woke up a bit sad this morning that the day we have long planned is over.
